Our History

SILESIAN Group (formerly Grupa ZIĘBICE) is a group of Polish family-owned companies operating in the agricultural, grain processing, trade, and industrial production sectors. It was founded in 1996. Silesian Farm Sp. z o.o. (formerly RPPH “Ziębice”) initiated the group’s existence and remains an essential part of the integrated raw material supply chain within SILESIAN Group.

The group operates several grain elevators equipped with modern, energy-efficient dryers, allowing us to provide comprehensive grain purchasing and storage services for both milling and trading purposes.

Our current storage capacity is 130,000 tons, and our dryers can process approximately 4,000 tons of corn per day. Combined with the favorable soil and climate conditions of Lower Silesia, this gives us unique advantages in terms of raw material security. We focus on sourcing most of our raw materials from nearby areas, which is crucial for environmental sustainability and for fostering strong local partnerships with farmers and businesses in the region.

We cultivate over 3,500 hectares of land and are one of Poland’s leading grain producers and processors. Since 2004, we have been systematically diversifying our operations by launching new ventures related to the production and processing of raw materials for the food and feed industries.

Our first step into food processing was the establishment of Silesian Grain Sp. z o.o. (formerly Bio Corn Sp. z o.o.) and the launch of a corn mill, which for 20 years has been supplying grits, groats, and corn flour to manufacturers of snacks, breakfast cereals, gluten-free food, and more.

The next step was the creation and launch of a modern flour processing plant, Silesian Flour Sp. z o.o. Using unique FlexFarina technology, this plant produces functional FHT flours that are hydrothermally processed. Its raw materials include products from the SILESIAN Wheat Mill and the Silesian Grain corn mill.

The group also includes Betoniarnia Paczków (a concrete plant), eight laboratories, a research and development center, a test kitchen, and a modern office building with conference facilities.

Our competitive advantage lies in full control over the entire process, from field to finished product, thanks to our integrated supply chain and in-house production. All our factories are BRC-certified (AA rating).

Our raw materials are supplied to food, feed, and pet food producers not only in Europe but also in the Middle East and Asia.

At Silesian Flour Sp. z o.o., in addition to producing functional FHT flours, we also offer technological consulting, as well as the production and implementation of coating systems for fish, meat, and seafood sectors.

Silesian Grain Sp. z o.o. is a company with over twenty years of experience in corn milling. We source corn within the SILESIAN GROUP and from local farmers who have been cooperating with us for years. Our knowledge and expertise enable us to stay ahead of customer needs, meet rigorous standards, and implement new technological solutions.

Our corn-based products are widely used in the production of extruded goods such as crisps, snacks, and breakfast cereals, as well as in baking mixes, pet food, and feed production.
With over 20 years of experience and a skilled workforce, we provide gluten-free products essential for food production catering to people with gluten intolerance.

It is important to emphasize that our corn flours, grits, and groat serve as raw materials for advanced finished products manufactured by SILESIAN FLOUR Sp. z o.o., including FHT functional flours, breading systems, and masa-type flours.
